It is one of the most cherished times of the year: Mother's Day Weekend. Over the years, Mom's role changes in our life yet somehow remains the same. It doesn't matter if its natural or if you have to work at it, but one day you become friends. And you learn to appreciate Mom for all new reasons.

Time also gives us the opportunity to appreciate her for the old reasons even more. Age gives us perspective to see the level of their sacrifice, love and care. As we grow and move through careers, marriage, and motherhood, we see how easy she made it look. We finally find the "why" behind some of the rules that made no sense at all and we realize we really can do anything we commit to. Just like Mom said we could.

The best of her advice are rules for life. Her gifts and talents spark our interests as adults. She created a blueprint for life and as we grow and mature, we adapt and create our own version.
