Coco Curls (Jeannelle Darden) hosted the
Coco Curls + Conversation lunchtime meet-up at Raz'z Bar & Grill in Antioch. The event matched natural hair wearers with stylists and brand developers. We exchanged information, tips, and laughs over a delicious lunch. Check the pictures below:

Next, Jeannelle discussed the process of developing her product and marketing the Coco Curls brand. I loved what she said about having FAITH in the process of entrepreneurship. She gave the group tips and tricks for using the Coco Curls product line and discussed new products coming soon. The guests were treated with a gift bag featuring all the Coco Curls products and information from participating event partners.

I loved the natural hair demonstration provided by the ladies of
Natural Awakenings Salon. Tiara, one of the stylists finished a rod-set on natural hair using Coco Curls products. While she styled she answered questions about visiting a salon for the first time, asking your stylist questions, and developing a relationship with your new stylist.
Her best tip: Set up a CONSULTATION with a new stylist before having services provided. Stylists should answer all your questions and address concerns before starting any process.
